ZENSHO RICE & SHIRAKAWA CITY

ZENSHO RICE Co., Ltd. is a Zensho Group company that operates rice milling plants.

Based in Fukushima Prefecture, one of Japan's leading rice-producing regions, we collect and sell rice mainly in the Kanto and Tohoku regions.

ZENSHO RICE

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Zensho Holdings, ZENSHO RICE sells polished and brown rice to the group's restaurants, supermarkets and nursing facilities, as well as to external parties.
Through thorough sanitation and quality control based on HACCP, we carefully polish brown rice (catering to the rice's properties), and produce and ship delicious milled rice on a daily basis.

SHIRAKAWA CITY

Shirakawa City, where ZENSHO RICE is located, is about 1 hour and 20 minutes to central Tokyo by bullet train. It is a historical town that has prospered as the gateway to the Tohoku region since ancient times. The area is also home to historical and cultural sites such as ancient Komine Castle, Nanko Park, the oldest city park in Japan, and Shirakawa Barrier, which has been written about in poems by Saigyo Hoshi and Matsuo Basho.
